Food Shelf

WCCA operates the only county-wide emergency food shelf in Wright County from the Family Service Center in Waverly. The Food Shelf provides a four (4) day supply of food to Wright County families in need, who are unable to access a Food Shelf in their own community.

In addition to addressing the immediate emergency need for food, WCCA assists residents to access other more long term services that will help to assure the family has adequate resources in the future to provide for nutrition and other basic needs. Routinely, a self declaration of income and the nature of the family emergency are requested at the time of service.

The ongoing operation of the WCCA Food Shelf is made possible with donations from a broad range of community groups, organizations and individuals.
